Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of tvmounting.app (the "Service") and the installation services we provide. By booking an appointment or using the site you agree to these Terms.

Service area

We operate in select parts of New York and New Jersey. Enter your ZIP code at the start of booking to confirm availability. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule a job if it turns out to be outside our service area.

Booking and pricing

  • Prices shown during booking are estimates based on the options you select.
  • Final pricing may adjust on-site if the wall material, TV, or environment differs materially from what was indicated (for example, masonry not disclosed, TV larger than selected size).
  • No deposit is required to book. Payment is collected on-site after the job is completed, by cash, card, or digital payment as arranged with the installer.
  • Add-ons discovered on-site (e.g. additional anchors, extra cable) will be quoted and approved by you before the work is performed.

Your responsibilities

To allow us to complete the job safely and on time, you agree to:

  • Be present (or have an authorized adult present) during the appointment
  • Provide access to the installation area and a working power outlet
  • Have the TV, mount, and any components you own ready on-site
  • Disclose known hazards (live wires, asbestos, unstable walls) in advance
  • Be the owner of the property, or have the property owner's permission to drill and mount

Cancellation and rescheduling

See our full Cancellation Policy. In short: you can cancel or reschedule up to 1 hour before the appointment window at no charge. Within that window, we may ask you to cover reasonable travel time if the installer is already en route.

Workmanship guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with the installation within the scope of the service you booked, contact us within 30 days and we will return to make it right at no extra charge, within reason. This covers issues such as leveling, cable routing, and mount stability when installed per manufacturer specifications.

Our guarantee does not cover:

  • Damage caused by the customer, pets, or third parties after we leave
  • Defects in the TV, mount, or hardware you supplied
  • Walls or structures failing due to pre-existing conditions not disclosed to us
  • Changes you request that fall outside the original booked service

Liability and insurance

Our installers are insured for accidental damage caused during the installation. In the event of damage we cause, our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the affected item, up to the value paid for the service, unless otherwise required by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Acceptable use of the website

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for fraudulent or illegal purposes
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or scrape the service
  • Submit false booking information
  • Upload or transmit malicious code

Intellectual property

The tvmounting.app name, logo, photography, and site content are our property and may not be reproduced without permission.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York, unless applicable consumer protection law provides otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
